When former President Bill Clinton addressed members of The Fragrance Foundation and others, in January, he spoke about the merits of using ingredients such as Haitian Vetiver (see nitesh_bp.rodpub.com for more info). Ermenegildo Zegna Parfums has done just that, introducing its new fragrance, Haitian Vetiver ($195), to its exclusive Essenze Collection. Haitian Vetiver is described as “its own expression of one signature raw material with its own unique provenance. Discerningly sourced. Brilliantly composed. Like the finest tailored designs.”

The star ingredient, Vetiver, a tropical fragrant grass, derives from a single, private crop, produced exclusively for the House of Ermenegildo Zegna, and grown in Les Cayes in southwest Haiti.

The fragrance is housed in a modern glass bottle and features a custom label with a corresponding colored border that reflects its key notes.
